In Zestiria you could disable some DLC and Grade Shop bonuses, they sadly didn't keep that in Berseria, so that kind of stuff can basically ruin the game (making an already easy Tales even easier). Stuff like the bonus EXP DLC are just early unlock from the Grade Shop, so that's stuff you get naturally for NG+ if you're patient (Btw, DLC do not stack with their Grade Shop counterpart). It's also interesting to note that you don't even need to rely on that kind of stuff, Berseria has equipment bonuses to multiply experience and a post game dungeon with bosses you can refight. So it's actually never too hard or too long to get to max level even without a NG+ imo.Īs for the costumes & accessories, you will unlock some of them as you play the game (mini games, exploration, katz chests, trading tales coins etc.). While I also miss the times where everything was available in game, Berseria is far from the low point Xillia was in that area (with only 4 costumes available in game).
